STUDENTS CAN ALSO CHOOSE HOSPITALS IN PAKISTAN AFTER PASSING FCPS I
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION ; MOST OF THEM CHOOSE HOSPITALS IN NEPAL.IT'S
BETTER TO CONTACT AND PREFIX THE DESIRED HOSPITAL BEFORE APPEARING THE
EXAM.
AFTER PASSING MEDICAL AND ALLIED SUBJECT ONE CAN JOIN ANY
SUBSPECIALITIES IN MEDICAL FIELD. SIMILARLY SURGICAL SUBSPECIALITIES CAN
BE CHOSEN AFTER PASSING SURGERY AND ALLIED PAPER IN ENTRANCE
EXAMINATION. ENT ,OPTHALMOLOGY ,RADIOLOGY ETC. HAVE SEPARATE QUESTIONS.
IN 2011 JUNE SESSION , THERE WERE 40 STUDENTS WHO APPERARED FOR THE
EXAM.GENERALLY EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED IN A GOOD HOTEL. THAT TIME 6
STUDENTS PASSED IT .PAPER I WAS EASY AND II WAS A BIT TOUGH. SO PREPARE
NICE FROM THE SYLLABUS. IT REQUIRES A THOROUGH PREPARATION OF THE
IMPORTANT TOPICS IN MBBS.
AFTER 2 YEARS OF TRAINING ONE ENTERS INTO THE SPECIALITY TRAINING. FOR
ORTHOPAEDICS WHICH IS A 5 YEARS COURSE , 2 YEARS OF GENERAL SURGERY
INCLUDING ROTAIONS IN PLASTIC SURGERY , CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY,
NEUROSURGERY AND ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY WAS A FUN. IT SEEMS
LONGER BUT EVERYONE ENJOYS DURING THE COURSE. AT THE END OF 2 YEARS
,ASESSMENT EXAMINATION IS CONDUCTED .PASSING THIS ONE ENTERS INTO
REMAINING COURSE OF 3 YEARS .
THEN DISSERTATION AND COURSE GO SIDE BY SIDE.DISSERTATION HAS TO BE
SUBMITTED 6 MONTHS BEFORE FINAL EXAM DATE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE
EXAM.AFTER APPROVAL OF THE DISSERTATION , ONE SITS FOR FCPS II
EXAM.PASSING THIS ONE BECOMES THE FELLOW OF THE COLLEGE.
